Afrojazz - Brazil (Rio de Janeiro)
Brazilian music - with all its influences, be it jazz with trumpet and sax, as in traditional combos, or electric guitar rock and afrobeat, through percussion and drums that bring the ancient tones of the drums.
The AfroJazz the show is marked by many danceable grooves and is evidence the search for musical and cultural ancestry of the African continent, as well as their changes and developments since the arrival of Africans to other countries.
African music was instrumental in the musical history of Brazil and is represented by the influences that it spread from african-Brazilian theme. As a reference in African music, Mulatu Astatke, Mongo Santa Maria, Guy Warren and Fela Kuti are cited in an infectious performance.

Graffiti artist - Brazil (Rio de Janeiro)

Marcos Rodrigo, also known as 'Wark da Rocinha' has been the graffiti's premier favela for ten years.
The native Rocinha pioneered the graffiti movement in Brazil's largest favela, which drew his attention
and handshake from prominent Brazilian leaders, including Lula da Silva, the former president of
Brazil.
Wark also promotes frequent exhibitions in the city and its commissioned works command thousands
of Reais.
Two years ago, the graffiti artist decided to give back to the younger members of his community, so he
founded Wark Institute, a youth school in Rocinha to learn and practice the art of making.
With his students, Wark creates public pieces of graffiti that show the achievements of the community
